Career - Polytype

The training nature of our company is written into our DNA. Since Polytype’s beginnings in the 1960s, over 1100 apprentices have been trained at our Fribourg center. Today, we continue to maintain a strong economic and social position to ensure the next generation of employees and to stimulate the local economy.

This positioning is also reflected in the loyalty of our apprentices, 40% of our current employees being former Polytype apprentices.

In this way, we continue to train future professionals in our various core industrial professions: automation engineers, logisticians, polymechanics and industrial designers and constructors. In the case of polymechanics, the training focus is on both the machine-building aspects and the assembly of industrial infrastructures.
