Who we are?
In Fribourg, in the middle of multilingual Switzerland, our journey began over 60 years ago.
From the very beginning, we have specialized in the development and manufacturing of innovative machines for printing on cups and tubes. Today, polytype SA is recognized as one of the global leaders in its sector.
Our group employs approximately 500 people worldwide, with headquarters in Switzerland and subsidiaries in Germany, the United States, and Asia.
We are proud of our local commitment to education and training. With 17 apprentices, we are a key partner for the canton. Since 1962, we have trained more than 1,200 apprentices in technical professions, actively contributing to the development of future talent and expertise.
In 2026, we offer apprenticeships for the following professions:
